In our aquatics programs, children learn to be safe around water and feel the sense of accomplishment that comes with learning something new. We offer a wide range of classes and programs for infants, toddlers, youth, teens and adults, with private, semi-private and class options.

Parent and Child: 30 Minute Class
These classes are designed for very young children to learn basic water safety skills assisted by a parent.
Learn to Swim Level 1: 45 Minute Class
This is an introduction to water skills, and is for beginning swimmers with no experience in the water
Learn to Swim Level 2: 45 Minute Class
Children need to be comfortable exploring the water both on the surface as well as underwater being completely submerged (entire head).
Learn to Swim Level 3: 45 Minute Class
Children must be able to tread/float for at least 15 seconds, float on both front and back, and swim (in any form) 5 body lengths unassisted.
Learn to Swim Level 4: 45 Minute Class
Children must be able to tread/float for 1 minute and swim 25 yards of both backstroke and front crawl all unassisted.
Learn to Swim Level 5: 45 Minute Class
Children must be able to swim back stroke and front crawl for 25 yards, swim breast stroke for 15 yards, and be able to swim 5 body lengths underwater confidently.
The Piranhas Swim Team is designed to introduce young people to the benefits of competitive swimming. We operate a 6 month program that competes in the Northwest Ohio YMCA league during the fall and winter months.
Our program is designed to meet the following objectives: build self-esteem, learn teamwork, set and achieve goals, fulfilling responsibility, promoting health and fitness, having fun, and swimming FAST!
We welcome swimmers of all ability levels as long as they are committed to working hard.
